Service Description

We will be doing a 3-part workshop aimed at teaching middle-school students how to become more informed and involved citizens when it comes to gender equality issues. Our first workshop will provide a crash course on the history of gender equality through a Kahoot game and short presentation. Our second workshop will discuss the impacts of social media and the use of language in our every day lives, specifically pertaining to issues regarding gender. Our final workshop will introduce students to ways to become more involved and informed in their school and community when it comes to raising awareness on gender equality issues.
