Service Description

Between February 10th and March 24th, Rville Studios will hold workshops every Wednesday at 6:00 pm to teach each component of the filmmaking process to attendees. There will simultaneously be two film contests running: one for 6-8th grade, and one for 9-12th grade. Entrance into the contest is not required to attend the workshops. Categories for both middle school and high school competitions will be Drama (8 min. maximum), Comedy (4 min. maximum), Documentary (5 min. maximum), PSA (3 min. maximum), Music Video (3 min. maximum), and Other (3 min. maximum). Submissions will end on April 5th. After reviewing the submissions, Club Advisor Jennifer Paulino, Club President Jonny Blando, Club Vice President Leah Lichtenfeld, and a guest will choose winners in each category. On April 12th, Rville Studios will hold a film festival screening of all of the films in each category and announce the winners. We hope to see you in our workshops and film contest!
